| Vanilla Ice cream
1 cup of honey 1/2 teaspoon of salt 6 egg yolk, beaten 2 cups of evaporated milk 2 cups of heavy cream 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract or ground vanilla beans
Mix honey, salt, and egg yolks thoroughly. Add the milk slowly and cook in the top of a double broiler until the mixture coats a spoon. Cool. Strain, and add cream and vanilla. Pour into ice cream maker can and freeze using 8 parts ice to 1 part salt. More Ice Cream recipes |
