| Quick Baked Beans 1/8 pound of salt pork One 1 pound can of baked beans, with tomato sauce 1 tablespoon of brown sugar 1 tablespoon of molasses 3 tablespoons of catsup 1 teaspoon of instant minced onions 1/4 teaspoon of dry mustard |

Cut salt pork in sliced. Place in saucepan, cover with cold water and bring to a boil. drain. Pan fry salt pork until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Place the beans, brown sugar, molasses, catsup, onion and dry mustard in a saucepan, bring to a boil. Turn bean mixture into two individual 1 1/4 cup casseroles, top with salt pork. Bake in 350ºF. oven for 40 to 45 minutes. added 8/17/06 |
