| Batter Frankfurters
1 egg 1/2 cup of milk 1 cup of biscuit mix 2 tablespoons of yellow corn meal 1/4 teaspoon of paprika 1/2 teaspoon of dry mustard 1/8 teaspoon of cayenne pepper 1 pound of frankfurters |

Blend egg and milk; stir in dry ingredients. Dip frankfurters in batter. Deep fat fry for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Push wooden skewer into end of frankfurter; garnish with mustard and ketchup, or serve plain. Serves 10-12. |
