1 1/2 pounds of filet of beef 1 onion 3 tablespoons of butter 1 pound of mushrooms 1/2 cup of red wine 1/8 teaspoon of nutmeg 1 cup of sour cream salt and pepper
Chop the onion, slice the mushrooms and sauté in butter until soft but not browned. Slice the beef in thin strips about 2 inches long and 3/4 inch wide. Add to the pan and sauté for about 6 minutes until evenly brown. Add the seasoning and wine and simmer, stirring as it cooks. Add the sour cream, making sure it doesn't boil and serve with noodles, rice or new potatoes.
