Chicken Mushroom Tetrazzini

1 2 1/2 to 3 pound broiler/fryer
2 cups of noodles
3 tablespoons of flour
1 cup of chicken stock
1 cup of heavy cream
1 large can of mushrooms
grated cheese



Boil chicken until tender; remove meat from bones. Cook noodles according to package directions. Blend flour with chicken stock and cream; cook until thickened. Combine one-half of the sauce with the chicken; combine remaining sauce with the noodles and mushrooms. Pour noodle mixture into baking dish; top with chicken mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 275ºF.  until browned. Serves 6.
