| | No Salt Added Chicken in Sour Cream w/Paprika
one 2 1/2 pound frying chicken cut into serving pieces 1/4 cup of olive oil 1/4 cup of flour 1/2 teaspoon of pepper 1/4 cup of finely chopped onion 1/4 teaspoon of thyme 2 teaspoons of paprika 4tablespoons of light sour cream
Wash and dry chicken. Heat oil in a skillet. Mix flour and pepper. Dredge chicken. Sauté the chicken in the oil until brown. Remove and drain. Sauté the onion in the oil until tender. Return chicken to pan and sprinkle with thyme. Cover and cook gently 30 minutes until done. Remove chicken and sprinkle with paprika. Deglaze pan with sour cream and pour over the chicken. Serves 4 |
