Oven Barbecued Chicken 1

2 tablespoons of vinegar
1/2 cup of cooking oil
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
one 3 pound fryer, cut up




Combine the vinegar, oil, and seasonings, pour over chicken. Let stand overnight in refrigerator. Place chicken in baking dish, pour remaining marinade over it. Bake at 450ºF. for 25 minutes. Pour barbecue sauce over chicken, reduce heat to 350ºF. and bake for 1 hour, basting after 30 minutes. Yield 6 servings.

Barbecue sauce:
2 medium size onions, chopped fine
2 teaspoons of dry mustard
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
1 cup of chili sauce or catsup

Combine all ingredients, cook over low heat for 15 minutes.
