Ham with Apricot Mustard Glaze

 One 3 pound canned ham
1/4 cup of apricot preserves
1 tablespoon of light corn syrup
1 tablespoon of prepared mustard
1 tablespoon of butter or margarine
2 tablespoons of chopped walnuts 

Place the ham on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Roast at 325ºF. for 1 hour. Cut diamond pattern on top of ham. Combine the preserves, corn syrup, mustard and butter. Bring the mixture to boiling, spread over ham. Sprinkle the top with walnuts. Bake until a meat thermometer registers 160ºF, 30 minutes more. Makes 6 servings
