1 pound of ground beef 1/4 cup of chopped onion 1 teaspoon of salt 1/8 teaspoon of pepper One 16 ounce can of green beans, drained One 10 3/4 ounce can of condensed tomato soup 1 cup of Bisquick baking mix 1/4 cup of water
Heat oven to 425ºF. Cook and stir ground beef and onion until meat is brown and onion is tender. Stir in salt, pepper, beans and soup. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Pour mixture into ungreased 1 1/2-quart casserole. Keep hot in oven while preparing topping. Stir baking mix and water to a soft dough. Gently smooth dough into a ball on floured cloth-covered board. Knead 5 times. Roll dough to fit casserole. Cut three slits in center. Place dough on hot mixture. Bake 15 minutes. Yield: 4-6 servings.
