Cheesey Beef Hors D'Oeuvres

Tabasco Sauce
1/4 cup of butter, softened
2/3 cup of sifted flour
one 3 ounce package of sharp process cheese, crumbled
1/2 pound of ground beef
1/3 cup of dry bread crumbs
1 egg
2 teaspoons of chopped parsley
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/8 teaspoon of dry mustard
a pinch of nutmeg
Sesame seed



Cream  1/4 teaspoon of Tabasco sauce and butter in bowl. Add flour and cheese, mixing well. Chill for 1 hour.
Combine the next 7 ingredients and 1/8 teaspoon of Tabasco sauce in bowl, mixing well. Roll  chilled pastry 1/8 inch thick on floured surface.
Cut 2/3 of the pastry into 2 1/2 inch squares, 3 inch triangles and 2 inch circles. Place 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of ground beef mixture on each shape. Fold corners of squares to center, pinching to seal.

Roll triangles as for crescent rolls
Leave rounds open faced
Cut remaining pastry into sticks and triangles.
Sprinkle with sesame seed. Place pastries on baking sheet.
Bake at 350ºF. for 12 minutes. Makes 2 dozen
