1 1/2 pounds of ground beef flour 2 tablespoons of fat 1 medium onion, sliced 8 medium potatoes, sliced 1 quart of tomatoes 1/8 teaspoon of pepper 2 teaspoons of salt 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce 1/8 teaspoon of garlic powder 2 teaspoons of sugar
Shape beef into 1 1/2 inch thick patties, dust with flour, brown in fat on one side, turn and cover other side with onion, potatoes, tomatoes and seasonings. Cover and simmer for 1 hor. Place vegetables in serving dish and neat on platter. Serve hot. 6 servings
