| Hamburger Stuffed Bread
1 loaf of un-sliced French bread 1 pound of ground beef 1/2 green pepper, diced 1 can of Cheddar cheese soup 3 slices of American cheese 2 cups of bread crumbs 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire 1/2 cup of celery, diced Salt and pepper to taste |

Brown hamburger; drain. Add celery, green pepper, salt and pepper, Worcestershire sauce and soup. Simmer 5 minutes. Slice a lid lengthwise off top of bread and hollow out inside. Stir 2 cups bread crumbs into meat mixture. Fill shell with meat and top with cheese; replace top on bread. Replace in foil package and bake 10 minutes at 325ºF. Slice and serve. One 1 pound loaf of Kings Hawaiian un-sliced bread (round) 1 pound of ground beef 1 green pepper, diced 1/2 cup of diced celery 1 teaspoon of salt 1/4 teaspoon of pepper 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce 1 can of cheddar cheese soup 2 slices of cheddar cheese
Cut off top of bread and hollow out, forming crust shell. Tear enough bread into small pieces to make 2 cups; reserve. Brown beef, drain, mix in remaining ingredients except cheese slices. Simmer 4 to 5 minutes. Stir in bread pieces. Fill crust shell with meat mixtures. Cut cheese slices in half diagonally and place on top. Bake in 350ºF. oven until cheese melts (about 5 minutes. Place in center of large serving dish. Butter the top of bread loaf cut in pie shaped wedges and place on serving dish around loaf. |
