Hot Dogs in Cornbread
1 package (8 1/2 ounces) of corn muffin mix
1 egg
1/3 cup of milk
1 tablespoon of instant minced onion
4 frankfurters split in half lengthwise
1 teaspoon of oregano
1 cup (4 ounces) of shredded Cheddar cheese |

Prepare corn muffin mix, using egg and milk, according to
package directions. Sir onion into batter. Spread into a greased 1 1/2
quart shallow baking dish.
Arrange frankfurters over batter. Sprinkle with oregano.
Bake, uncovered at 400ºF. for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle
with cheese. Bake an additional 3 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
Serve with prepared mustard. 4 servings
