Seafood Sword

1/4 cup of soy sauce
1/4 cup of salad oil
1/4 cup of lemon juice
1/4 cup of snipped parsley
1/2 teaspoon of salt
a dash of pepper

Fresh or frozen shrimp
Fresh or frozen scallops
Large stuffed green olives
Lemon wedges



Combine the first 5 ingredients for basting sauce. Peel and devein shrimp, leaving last section of shell and tail intact. Add shrimp and scallops to basting sauce, let stand 1 hour at room temperature, stirring now and then. On skewers, alternate shrimp (put shrimp on skewers in pairs, turning the second one upside down and reversing direction), scallops, olives and lemon. Broil over hot coals, turning and brushing seafood frequently with sauce. Don't overcook.
