Quick Lasagna

1 1/2 pounds of ground beef
1 envelope of Onion mushroom soup mix
3 cans (8 ounces each) of tomato sauce
1 cup of water
1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano, optional
1 package (8 ounces) of broad egg noodles, cooked and drained
1 package( 16 ounces) of mozzarella cheese, shredded



Preheat oven to 375ºF.
In a 12 inch skillet, brown the ground beef over medium high heat; drain. Stir in onion soup mix, tomato sauce, water and oregano.
Simmer covered, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes.
In a 2 quart  oblong baking dish, spoon enough ground beef mixture to cover bottom. Alternately layer noodles, ground beef mixture and cheese, ending with cheese. Bake 30 minutes or until bubbling. Makes about 6 servings
