Meat Balls with Rice

1 1/2 pound of ground beef
1/2 cup of uncooked rice
1/2 cup of milk Basic-Recipes.com9/19/06
1/4 cup of chopped or grated onion
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of sage
1/4 teaspoon of pepper
flour
1 can of tomato soup

Combine all of the ingredients except the flour and tomato soup. Shape into medium sized balls and roll in flour. Place in casserole and cover with tomato soup. The soup may be diluted with a little hot water to make enough liquid to cover the balls. Bake, covered at 400ºF. for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Makes 8 servings
