| | Saucy Cocktail Meatballs
1 pound of ground beef 2 tablespoons of bread crumbs 1 egg, slightly beaten 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1/3 cup of each of finely chopped green pepper, onion 2 tablespoons of butter 1 can of tomato soup 2 tablespoons of brown sugar 4 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce 1 tablespoon of each of prepared mustard, vinegar
Mix the first 4 ingredients in a bowl. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place in a 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Broil until brown; drain. Sauté green pepper and onion in butter in skillet until tender. Add remaining ingredients, mixing well. Pour over meatballs. Bake covered at 350ºF. for 20 minutes. Yield: 4 dozen |
