| Meat Loaf with Zesty Topping
3/4 cup of milk 1 1/2 cup of soft bread crumbs 2 pounds of ground beef 2 teaspoons of salt 1/8 teaspoon of pepper 1 medium carrot, grated 1 small onion, diced 2 eggs, beaten 1/4 cup of catsup 3 tablespoons of brown sugar 2 tablespoons of prepared mustard |

Pour milk over bread crumbs. Add ground beef, salt, pepper, carrot, onion and eggs. Mix thoroughly. Pack in a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Mix catsup, brown sugar and mustard. Spread mixture on meat loaf. Bake at 325ºF. for 1 hour and 30 minutes, 8 servings |
