Roast Imperial

4 pounds of center round roast
1 medium can of tomato puree
1 large onion, diced
1 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of pepper
1/2 teaspoon of paprika
1/2 cup of water

Rinse the meat, place in heavy, Danish type iron casserole. Add the tomato puree, onion, garlic, seasonings and water. Cover and bake at 350ºF.  for 2 hours, turning roast after 1 hour. Cool overnight; slice thinly and place in gravy. Heat for 1 hour.
