4 pounds of sirloin beef 1 teaspoon of season all 1/4 teaspoon of salt 1/4 teaspoon of pepper 2 tablespoons of flour 2 tablespoons of drippings 4 cups of water 6 small onions 6 medium potatoes, chopped 6 small carrots, chopped
Tie and skewer meat; sprinkle with seasonings. Dredge meat in flour; brown in drippings. Pour boiling water over meat. Cover and simmer for 2 hours or until tender. Add vegetables; cook until tender. Remove meat and vegetables; thicken with flour for gravy. Makes 8 - 10 servings
