
| Creamed Bratwurst
6 brats 2 tablespoons of oil 1 cup of chopped onion 1 teaspoon of dry mustard 3 tablespoons of flour 1/2 teaspoon of salt 3/4 cup of chicken broth 3/4 cup of milk 1 medium green pepper, sliced into rings |
| In a large skillet, brown brats in oil; about 5 minutes. Remove pan, set aside. To drippings on skillet, add onion and mustard. Cook and stir until onion is tender but not brown; about 5 minute. Stir in flour and salt. Add chicken broth and milk, all at once. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Add meat and green pepper. Cover and cook 5 minutes more. |
