 Party Chicken Bake

 

Party Chicken Bake

1 tablespoon of Dry Italian salad dressing Mix. (Good Seasons, etc.)
2 tablespoons of margarine, melted
3 Whole chicken breast, split
1 can of cream mushroom soup
3 ounces of cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon of chopped chives
1/3 cup of  Sauterne
1 cup of instant rice 


Instructions
Reserve 1/2 tsp. salad dressing mix. In large skillet combine butter and dressing mix; add chicken and brown slowly until golden. Place in 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Blend soup, cream cheese, chives, and sauterne. Spoon over chicken. Bake uncovered at 325ºF.   for 1 hr. Baste with sauce occasionally. Serve over rice which has been cooked in water to which the reserved 1/2 tsp. salad dressing mix has been added.
