| Place the apples in a bowl, mix with sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, mace, nutmeg and lemon juice. Place apple mixture into pie shell; pat apples down evenly.Streusel topping 1/4 cup of butter 1/4 cup of flour 1/2 cup of light brown sugar
Mix together until crumbs are the size of peas. Sprinkle evenly over apples; pat down around edges. Slide pie into brown paper bag, fold end under the pie, put on a baking sheet. Bake at 350ºF. for 1 hour and 10 minutes. |
