Apple Mint Lamb Chop Broil

4 shoulder lamb chops, 3/4 inch thick
1/4 cup of lemon juice
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
1 teaspoon of pepper
1 teaspoon of paprika
1 teaspoon of chopped fresh mint or dried mint leaves
Apple mint sauce





Put the chops in a shallow baking dish. Mix the remaining ingredients, except sauce, and pour over chops. Let stand, turning occasionally, at least 1 hour. Then broil chops about 6 inches from source of heat 6 minutes on each side or until desired doneness. Put on hot platter and serve with the sauce. Makes 4 servings

Apple Mint Sauce
Mix  1 1/2 cups of canned applesauce, 1/2 cup of mint jelly, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Bring to boil and simmer 10 minutes.
