Apple Ham Casserole 1

1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon of dry mustard
1 cup of soft bread crumbs
3 1/2 cups of ground cooked smoked ham
1 tablespoon of minced onion
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup of milk
Salt to taste
3 eating apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1/4 cup of honey
2 tablespoons of butter


Mix the first 8 ingredients. Pack in a greased shallow baking dish. Arrange the apples on top of the mixture. Sprinkle with honey and dot with butter. Bake in a preheated oven at 375ºF. for about 40 minutes. Makes 4 to 6 servings
