2 ready to eat ham slices about 8 x 5 x 1/2 inches thick 2 cups of thinly sliced tart cooking apples 1 cup of seedless raisins 3 tablespoons of firmly packed brown sugar 2/3 cup of apple cider
Lay 1 slice of ham in a greased shallow baking dish. Cover with apple slices and raisins and sprinkle with sugar. Top with the remaining ham slice. Pour the cider over all and bake in a preheated hot oven at 400ºF. for about 35 minutes. Remove and place on a platter and pour the juice over all and serve. Makes 4 generous servings!
