Simple Beer Bread

Categories: Quick, Beer, Breads

3 cups of flour
1 pinch of sugar
1 pinch of salt
1 can of (small) beer

From: gei058@coventry.ac.uk (Manc) Date: 16 Nov 1994 10:24:29 -0500 Mix all ingredients well to form dough. Transfer to greased baking tin (I use 1-lb or 2-lb). If using 2-lb multiply all ingredients by approx. 1.5. Cook at 200ºC for approx 45-60 minutes. The recipe I have was given to me by a friend and was very approximate eg. Cook until cooked (!) I generally leave it for around 50 minutes and serve warm with butter on each slice. REC.FOOD.RECIPES From rec.food.cooking archives.
