Basic Bread Stuffing

Basic Bread Stuffing

3 tablespoons of Onions chopped
3/4 cup of celery, chopped
6 tablespoons of butter, melted
4 cups of day old bread crumbs
1 teaspoon of salt
1/8 teaspoon of pepper
1 teaspoon of  Thyme or sage
2 tablespoons of Water or milk; (optional)



Cook celery and onions in melted butter for about 10 minutes or until tender. Add the celery and onions and seasonings to the bread crumbs and mix thoroughly. If dressing seems very dry, add 2 tablespoons water, milk or fish stock to moisten. Serving Size: 4
