Giant Burgers
3 tablespoons of instant minced onion one 6 ounce can of evaporated milk 1 1/2 pounds of ground beef 1 1/2 teaspoon of salt a dash of pepper 1 - 2 tablespoons of steak sauce Soak the instant onion in evaporated milk a few minutes. Thoroughly combine meat, seasonings and milk onion mixture. Shape in five 4 inch patties, about 3/4 inch thick. Brush both sides with salad oil or melted margarine. Broil over slow coals for 5 minutes, turn, cook 3 - 4 minutes longer or till done. Serve with hot toasted hamburger buns. Makes 5 servings |
