Citrus Barbecue Sauce

1 large onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon of ground red chiles
1/4 teaspoon of ground red pepper
1 Ancho chile, seeded and finely chopped
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
1 cup of orange juice
1/2 cup of lime juice
2 tablespoons of sugar
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
1 tablespoon of fresh cilantro, diced
1 teaspoon of salt

Cook onion, ground red chiles, red pepper and Ancho chile in oil, stirring frequently, until onion is tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling, reduce heat to low. Simmer, uncovered, about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
