Dilled Wine Marinade

1 cup of white zinfandel
1/4 cup of olive oil
1/2 onion, thinly sliced
1 carrot, thinly sliced
1/8 cup of parsley sprigs or 2 teaspoons of dried parsley flakes
1/8 cup of dill sprigs or 2 teaspoons of dried dillweed
1/8 cup of chives, minced
Dash of pepper





Combine all of the ingredients in a medium bowl and blend well. Select the vegetables you wish to marinate. Prep into appropriate sized pieces for grilling. Add the vegetables to the marinade. Cover and marinate for 1 hour.
Remove the vegetables from the marinade and finish on the grill.
