Swiss Cheese & Onion Canapés
1 pound of grated Swiss cheese 1 medium size Spanish onion, chopped Salt & pepper to taste Party size rye bread slices 1 cup of softened margarine
Blend together cheese and margarine until it is fully blended. Add chopped onion. Spread on party size rye bread slices. Place under broiler just long enough to melt cheese. Serve hot. (The mixture on spread slices can be frozen.) |
