Delaware Crab Puffs

Cooking oil
2 cups of  flour
3 teaspoons of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 egg
1 cup of  milk
1/2 pound of  crabmeat

Heat cooking oil to 375ºF.  Mix the dry ingredients. In separate bowl, beat the egg and add milk and crabmeat. Stir into flour mixture. Mix well. Drop mixture from spoon into hot oil, and fry until delicately browned.
