2 tablespoons of flour 3 tablespoons of butter, melted 1 1/2 cups of milk 2 egg yolks, beaten 1/2 teaspoon of paprika 1/8 teaspoon of red pepper 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce 1 pound of crabmeat, cooked 4 slices of toast
Blend the flour with butter in top of a double broiler. Add milk and yolks that have been mixed together. Cook over hot water until thick. Add seasonings and crab and cook for about 3 minutes. Serve on toast. Makes 4 servings |
