Christmas Cranberries

12 ounces of fresh cranberries, ground
1 1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of water

Bring to a boil, the above ingredients in a large saucepan, for 5 minutes.

1 large package of cherry Jell-O
1 cup of undrained crushed pineapple
1 cup of diced celery
1/2 cup of chopped walnuts

In large bowl dissolve 1 large package of cherry Jell-O in 2 cups of hot water. Add 1 cup undrained crushed pineapple, 1 cup diced celery and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts. Mix well. Add cooked cranberries and stir. This makes a nice molded salad. Chill until firm. Serve with salad dressing or mayonnaise.
