| | Easy Apple Crumb Dessert
one 20 ounce can of apple slices
1/2 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
one 9 ounce package of white cake mix without pudding
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
Place apples in bottom of a 10x6x2 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
Pour over cake mix evenly over filling; dot with butter. Bake at 350ºF. for 45 minutes or until browned and bubbly.
Serve warm. Yield: 8 servings |
