Fruit Cocktail Dessert

2 eggs
one 1 pound can of fruit cocktail, undrained
1 1/2 cups of sugar
2 cups of flour
1/2 teaspoon of salt
2 teaspoons of baking soda
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 cup of dry flaked coconut



Preheat oven to 350ºF.   Mix the eggs and fruit cocktail together in a bowl. Add the sugar, mix well. Sift flour, salt, baking soda together into separate bowl, add egg mixture and mix well. add vanilla. Place fruit cocktail mixture in 9 x 13 inch pan, sprinkle with brown sugar and coconut. Bake for 30 minutes, serve warm. Serves 6
