Fruit with Honey Sauce

2 fresh peaches, peeled, pitted and cubed
2 cups of fresh or canned pineapple chunks
2 apples, peeled, cored and cut into rings
1 cup of water or pineapple juice
1/2 cup of honey
1 thin slice of lemon
1 stick of cinnamon
1 banana, sliced first lengthwise, then in half crosswise
2 tablespoons of sliced almonds
whipped cream, for garnish
4 pitted cherries or seedless grapes




Preheat oven to 350ºF. Combine the peaches, pineapple chunks, apples, water or pineapple juice, honey, lemon slice, and cinnamon in small casserole dish. Cover and bake for 40 minutes. add the banana to casserole, return to oven and bake just until heated thoroughly. Serve fruit warm. Garnish each serving with sliced almonds, whipped cream, and a cherry or grape. Serves 4
