| Frozen Melba Yogurt 1 pound of ripe peaches, peeled, halved and pitted 1/2 pint of ripe strawberries, hulled and sliced 1/2 cup of sugar 1 quart of plain yogurt Coarsely chop the peaches, place in bowl. add the strawberries and let stand at room temperature until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is juicy. Stir yogurt into peach mixture. Freeze until firm. remove from freezer and let stand at room temperature for 15 - 20 minutes before serving. Serves 6 |
