Herbed Lima Beans: Another delicious
variation on plain buttered limas, add 1 teaspoon of dried thyme, 1/2
teaspoon of oregano, stir herbs through hot beans. Cover and let stand 2
- 3 minutes. Serve at once.
Spanish Limas: Cook quick frozen or
fresh lima as usual. When half done, add 2 tablespoons of grated
onion. Continue cooking. About 5 minutes before serving add 2
tablespoons of chopped canned pimiento.
