Southern Green Lima Beans
2 cups of fresh green lima beans 3/4 cup of water 1 teaspoon of salt 1 tablespoons of butter 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, optional 1/3 cup of heavy cream |

Combine all the ingredients except cream in a saucepan and cook until the beans are tender. Add the cream and simmer for 5 minutes. Serve hot. 6 - 8 servings
