3 slices bacon, finely chopped 2 cups of tomatoes, cooked or canned 1/4 cup of onion, chopped 1 teaspoon of vinegar 4 cups of dry baby lima beans, 2 c. uncooked 1/4 cup of brown sugar, packed 1/4 teaspoon of chili powder |

Fry chopped bacon; remove from pan. Put remaining ingredients into fat; simmer for 25 minutes, or until thickened. Sprinkle beans with bacon before serving. |
