| Linguine w/Ham, Peas, and Mushrooms
8 ounces of Linguine 2 tablespoons of Olive oil 4 Scallions, including tops, thinly sliced 8 ounces of mushrooms, thinly sliced 6 ounces of Ham, cut into matchstick strips 1 1/4 cups Frozen green peas, thawed & drained 1 cup of cream 3 Cloves garlic, minced 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper 1/3 cup of Parmesan cheese |

Cook the linguine according to package directions. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a deep skillet over moderate heat . Add the scallions and garlic and sauté for 3 minutes. Add the mushrooms and sauté 3 minutes longer. Add the ham and sauté, stirring, for 1 minute. Add the peas, cream, and pepper, raise the heat to high and boil, uncovered for 3 minutes or until slightly reduced. Remove from heat. Drain the linguine and add to the skillet along with the cheese and toss lightly.
