Liver & Gravy
1/4 cup of all-purpose flour 1/4 teaspoon of salt 1/8 teaspoon of pepper 1 pound of thinly sliced beef liver 2 tablespoons of bacon drippings 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 medium onions, chopped 3 tablespoons of bacon drippings 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour 1 1/2 cup of water 1 teaspoon of salt 1/2 teaspoon of whole basil 1/2 teaspoon of whole thyme 1/4 teaspoon of pepper |

Combine flour, salt and pepper. Coat liver in seasoned flour mixture and brown in 2 tablespoons bacon drippings. Remove liver and place in a shallow 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with garlic. |
