Chicken Liver Supreme

1/2 cup of finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons of butter
1 pound of chicken livers, chopped
2 tablespoons of flour
1 teaspoon of seasoned salt
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
1 cup of sour cream
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
one 4 ounce can of sliced mushrooms, drained

Sauté the onion in butter for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the chicken livers; brown lightly, turning each one. Combine the flour, salt, pepper and sour cream. Add the sour cream mixture, mushroom soup and mushrooms to chicken livers. Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Do not boil. Spoon sauce on top of cooked noodles ands serve. Makes 6 servings
