Liver Loaf 2

1 1/2 pounds of liver
1 cup of bread crumbs
2 tablespoons of tomato catsup
juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 pound of pork sausage
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 egg, well beaten
1 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of pepper
1/4 teaspoon of paprika
bacon

Remove skin from liver, cut into slices and cook in boiling salted water for 15 minutes. Drain and put through food chopped, add all remaining ingredients except bacon. Mix well: adding 1/4 to 1/2 cup of water or milk if the mixture seems too dry. Turn into a loaf pan lined with slices of bacon. Press mixture firmly into pan and place additional strips of bacon over the top. Bake at 350ºF. for 1 hour. 6 -8 servings
