1 1/2 pounds of sliced calf liver Seasoned flour 6 medium onions, sliced 4 slices of crisp bacon, crumbled
Dredge liver with flour; sauté in hot fat until browned. Place in greased baking dish. Cover with onions. Season with salt and pepper. Spread bacon over top. Add 1/2 cup hot water; cover and bake in preheated 350ºF. oven for 30 minutes, adding more water as needed. Remove cover and bake 10 minutes more or until tender.
