1 pound of sliced beef liver 2 tablespoons of shortening 1 envelope of onion soup mix 1 can of tomato sauce 1/4 cup of flour 1 1/2 cup of water
Dip liver slices in flour. Heat shortening in large skillet and brown on both sides. Remove from skillet, stir tomato sauce in drippings and add soup mix and water. Cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Return liver to skillet and heat through.
