1/2 package of macaroni twists 1 pound of ground beef 2 tablespoons of fat or oil 1 small onion, chopped 2 medium green pepper, chopped salt and pepper to taste one 15 ounce can of tomato sauce 1 sauce can of water
Cook the macaroni according to package directions. Brown beef in fat, add onion and green pepper. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. After meat is well browned, add tomato sauce and water, cook over low heat about 30 minutes or until thickened. Pour sauce over drained macaroni and serve. Yield 4 - 6 servings
