| Slow Cooker Macaroni & Cheese
3 to 4 cups of cooked macaroni 2 cups of evaporated milk 2 tablespoons of onions, minced 2 cups of Cheddar cheese, cubed 2 tablespoons of flour 1 teaspoon of salt 1/2 teaspoon of pepper 1/2 teaspoon of paprika
Note: For a thicker sauce, add 1 beaten egg during the first half hour of cooking. Place all ingredients except macaroni in pot. Cover and cook on HIGH for 1 - 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Add cooked, drained macaroni and cover, cooking on LOW for 3- 5 hours. Serves 5 -6 |
